Job Description
|
A vacancy has arisen for an Analyst to join the Inorganic Team of their Speciality Chemistry Section at Bretby.
The role will involve sample preparation and analysis of routine and non-routine samples submitted to the laboratory and to report the findings of such tests, all within the client’s and company's expectations in terms of accuracy and timescales.
This will involve using appropriate analytical techniques and equipment (principally hot plates/microwaves, furnaces/ovens, Ion Chromatography, ICP-AES, and ICP-MS) and working within the requirements of UKAS and other QA and safety systems.
Work will also include data processing & preparation of technical reports for customers so applicants should be IT literate. |
Candidate Requirements
|
Applicants should have experience of working within a laboratory environment and have a degree or equivalent, preferably in Chemistry.
Due to the nature of the work applicants must be thorough and accurate, with a good eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. |
